EasterMinistryofArtsGreeting2011

i thank You God for most this amazing day:

for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes

(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun's birthday; this is the birth
day of life and love and wings: and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)

how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any – lifted from the no
of all nothing – human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?

(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)

EASTER REFLECTION

Jesus helps us to see the daily resurrections

that can transform our world and ourselves.

This Easter we can catch a glimpse of the Risen Christ

and our Risen Selves by . . .

helping to transform another's hurt into forgiveness,

. . . transforming our dying planet

into a world of interdependence and beauty,

. . .  freeing ourselves from anything

which might hold us in the tomb.

Resurrection is about allowing ourselves and others

to live alleluias every day of our lives.

It is believing we are all one.

It is about hope and being set free.

And, yes, it is about a cosmic leap of faith!

Thank you Liz & Mary & Marlene & e.e.cummings for your Easter gifts.
The cummings poem is among my favorites. How fine to have it appear amid a garden of other gorgeous & transforming flowers.

Thank you for the pretty lovely sight captured in your ministry of art. It reminds me of my friend who said: “Nowadays, I take pleasure in the gentle winds that caress my cheeks and the crunch, crunch of the golden brown leaves vibrating beneath my feet… reminds me that I’m alive… reveling in the amazing harvest at sunrise and the soothing sweet harmonies of home rhythms…
The sun lights up the avenues
    I’ve yet to travel
    Fills the sky with clouds
    when I’m uncertain
Allows gentle winds to guide me
    Toward my unseen future
    And I journey on”….
Kathleen… thank you too for your beautiful reflections.

Liz, I am thrilled that you shared the Easter greetings from the Ministry of Arts – I keep rereading and reflecting upon the words of e.e.cummings so that my ears will be awake and my eyes opened. Easter hope and joy to one and all.
