A child's Christmas - copyright erie chapman 2012   Think about Christmas (or vacation.) Can you feel your energy rising?

Think about work? What is happening to your energy now?

Where attention goes, energy flows. It is one of the most powerful notions I've every come across. Attitude determines energy.

Physics teaches you that things that are still want to stay still and things that are moving want to keep moving. This is inertia and momentum.

It takes significant energy to put a still thing into motion

This is as true in your life as it is in physics. Has your life become stagnant? Is your workplace stuck in an old, failed pattern?

What is the kind of energy it takes to get things going? The strategy is clear through a few basic steps that are crucial to change.

When there is a traumatic event, these steps may be compressed and concentrated into one life-changing occurrence – a serious accident, a terminal diagnosis, or something joyful like the birth or winning the lottery.

But, most change is gradual and requires persistence.

First, notice your energy. Are you aware of an unhappy life pattern?

Do you accept that this is something you can and do need to change? If you do not, then stop right here because nothing changes unless you prioritize the need.

Third, create a picture of what you want your new momentum to look like? What would your life be if you changed your pattern?

Finally, take action. Try out the change.

These ideas are clear and very hard they to implement. It takes enormous energy to change old inertia into new momentum.

If you want to live Love not fear start building your new momentum today – and watch your life improve.

I was recently shocked (or maybe not) by an online survey that showed a majority of people preferred going to the dentist, or even getting a colonoscopy to going to work! How very sad that so many view such a big part of their daily life as drudgery. Years ago, my father told me that one of the keys to a happy life was turning those things that I felt I “had to” into things that I “want to” by looking for the good, looking for the love. This always works for me. Each day, we have a choice whether we will stay stuck or face the world with love. Love energizes, refreshes and makes all things new. But it is a choice!

Whenever I read one of your essays I try to take what is offered and apply it to my own life. Right now I am at the stage of noticing the energy in my body. Our perceived stress can wreak havoc with our physical biology, immune system, health and well-being. Stress releases toxic levels of cortisol and ages us before our time. I am learning to pay attention to what my body is telling me. (Sara Godfried has some interesting information to share on this-as I am listening to The Loving Brain Series).
It is so true it is really hard to change life patterns for all of us. I appreciate the wisdom offered in these steps that require attention, intention, vision and persistence. Thank you, for today’s gift, Erie.

Can man go to the moon? Yes,they can and the Explorer is parked in Los Angeles for interested viewers to see the accomplishments of men and the machine they created to fly through space. All this takes planning, time and energy to achieve this goal. At various stages in life we need to adapt to the ever changing circumstances be it physical, mental or monetary limitations to achieve our goals to a happy existence. We may be stuck in a situation for some time trying to free and move on. It feels that our hands are tied as we struggle to set ourselves free of the encumberances. By living love and and allowing the positive energy to flow through us we can with patience eventually accomplish our goal. We can be energized once again and move on.
