Sometimes love manifests in the most unique and unexpected ways.

Recent Journal reflections have delved into our need to belong amid the tension of wanting to live a truly authentic life. Too often we may mold and conform ourselves in an effort to fit in. The years flood by until one day we no longer recognize the person in the mirror. We may feel as though we have lost touch with the passion that sparks our wonder at being alive. The discontent of dreams lost can shake us from our sleep. Herein lies the blessing; the chance for re-awakening.

Animals are not indoctrinated into the same societal norms and cultural mores as we humans. The following is a delightful story of the power of Love. We can learn a lot from a crow and a kitten. 😉 ~liz

Thanks to Bill Gayle for sharing this remarkable story.

Enjoyed this heartwarming love story Liz. We could learn from animals too 🙂
Our unique ways gives us a constant flowing energy, multiple colors that stimulate our sights, simplicity to complexity of likes and dislikes, etc… in our differences, we know, Love is that keeps us one. Love is that moves us to care. Love is that knows no bounds.

Thank you for sharing this, Liz. This is what reminds us that it’s what’s on the inside that counts 🙂
Sorry if this may seem somewhat distant to the main concept, but this journal especially reminds me of the moments when people don’t see the good in us…times when we are misunderstood for one reason or another, even when trying to help someone. And…just because they don’t see our intentions doesn’t mean we have to change just so they can acknowledge the good that we do. But it’s hard. We should just be ourselves in how we do things. That’s something that this beautiful acceptance between kitten and crow reminds me of. And also that, of course…with Love, anything is possible.

Love does come in unexpected ways. We must remain open to receive those moments without hesitaion or judgement. Thankyou Liz for , as always, a wonderful video that brings us such joy and profound discovery.
Interesting that this morning on “Focus on the Family”..they were talking about what mask do you wear? I don’t beleive animals wear masks, they are just being and living. I think we can learn a lot from them about acceptance.

Liz, thanks for reminding us to remain unique; this may be our only life – our time to accept and enjoy ourselves in our own skin. And embrace the uniqueness of others while giving them the same due.
I loved the video of the crow and the cat. What would seem a highly dangerous encounter has turned into a loving relationship…
