The world is magical

The May Moon

The May moon
goes around like an inspector in
a white jacket.

The visitors will soon be here.
Is everything
in its place? This tapestry
must be brushed, green rugs everywhere
and
candles on the tables.

A little music, half muffled,
—one thrush, a
little lark, that’s better—
and violins. Bring up some more small
rivers!

-Rolf Jacobsen, The Roads have Come to an End: Selected and Last Poems

[E]veryday life is more
interesting than forms of celebration, when we become aware of it. That is when
our intentions go down to zero. Then suddenly you notice that the world is
magical.

You painting should be converted to a poster for everyone’s wall. I sure would like one.
The two poetic writings support you painting in such a powerful way. Thank you, Liz.

As soon as I saw your delightful painting Liz, memories flowed of the inspiring book, The Little Prince. How beautiful. Oh to open our eyes and our heart, to notice …

And you were born in May…I love the magical world. I am in it when I meditate, walk in the park. Then many find me and I notice their troubled words and their worlds. I wish I had a wand to wash away all their worries and frets. But all I can do is actively listen and confirm their concerns. Only they can put into action what they already know they need to do…Love is letting go of fear..Great book:)
