Mandala 3-31-16

" Love is what carries you, for it is always there, even in the dark, or most in the dark, but shining out at times like gold stitches in a piece of embroidery. " -Wendell Berry

Liz: love your beautiful and carefully “woven” embroidery in the background of the mandala. “Love in the deepest most part is central is always present to strengthen and encourage. You are right.

A truly beautiful tapestry; a medallion; a mantra to chant the words from one panel and flow to the next. The colors are royal yet earthy… the ebb and flow…
Love is what carries you. Before you were born your mother carried you. After birth your father carried you on his shoulders so you could get a better look at the parade. Love is what carries you.
    Even in our darkness
There is the promise within the light of love.
Who knows what grey matter is…
    Maybe it is God’s Love
    Holding us together
    Keeping us from falling apart
Touching us every day with love
    From above.

I appreciate the connection you make to our parents and how their love carried us even before we were born… and even now although they have left this earthly plane , their love still carries us.
Thanks too, Jolyon for adding these golden thoughts to enrich and bless each of us.
