Simple and earthy! That’s my kind of post. I can smell freshly turned dirt in an old vegetable garden; sense the subtle movements of a trout turning at a depth; or taste the mystical flavors and finish of a really good red wine.
Not everyone can look deep within their persona and deeply beyond it to fully comprehend and appreciate the nature of our planet Earth and its manifold mysteries. Celebrate life! Celebrate Earth! Celebrate God!

The May flowers painting is stunning. I was immediately drawn to open the post. The flowers calling me in to slow down and gaze at their beauty. Starring at them brought calm. I could smell them and imagined my self standing in that garden. The thought brought great calmness and a sense of peace. I started thinking of those who are hurting and how a bouquet from this place would bring them some happiness and a smile. I would like to have my garden back to work in productively to bring a smile to someone else to share. Thankyou for sharing your talent. Your watercolor is breathtaking.❤️

Liz, when I look at your painting, I see the possibility of doorways, pathways, portals. Which direction is Spring? Which path takes us forward. Is there a portal to the past or future? Can we get close enough to listen to the whispers? Deep down the freshness of dawn is what touches me.
Thank you, Liz.

What a magnificent image of flowers housed in cathedral trees and backed with stained glass light. The beauty of the universe resides in your work, Liz.
(and you will see that we have landed on similar subjects once again – “coincidentally.”)

How delightful, thank you Liz. The shapes speak to me of windows in chapels of old – how symbolic for the sacredness of your inspiring drawing – yes, the freshness of deep down things – Beauty.
