Thank you for posting this life-giving watercolor by Sister Marie, Liz. Her image brings exactly what her title describes, a deep sense of abundance during this weekend that we honor our mothers and mothers everywhere.
I remember the profound experience of meeting Kubler-Ross about thirty-five years ago after a talk she gave at Toledo’s St. Charles Hospital. She spoke in a monotone for more than an hour and everyone sat riveted. Of course, her “Stages of Grief” are routinely quoted everyday by hundreds of thousands of people around the world – most of whom have no idea that she created this analytical model.LikeLike

I love the watercolor, and Kubler-Ross opened up the souls of the dying to what we the loving needed to hear. The message is really about listening and responding with love.

What a wonderful quote and art from Sr. Marie! Thank you, Liz,for bringing beauty to our day. My mother taught me what unconditional love is by example. I am so grateful that I am still able to celebrate Mother’s Day with her. When we have love, we truly have abundance. Now it is my turn to return that unconditional love that endures forever.
